Lio Kuokman and Mihhail Gerts, two laureats of the last Svetlanov Competition in 2014, starred in incredible programmes at La Folle Journée de Nantes festival whose theme this year was a tribute to Exile with the title Towards a New World.

Then, Lio Kuokman took a plane to Moscow to conduct the Moscow Symphony Philharmonic Orchestra. He shared the stage with the pianist Boris Berezosvky in a programme tribute to the 100th anniversary of Leonard Bernstein.

As for Mihhail Gerts, he went on a tour with the Bergische Symphoniker conducting a programme of Respighi The Birds, Messiaen Concert for 4 and Beethoven’s Symphony n°4.
