Domingo Hindoyan, a laureate of the Evgeny Svetlanov International Conducting Competition 2010, has had great success conducting orchestras such as the London Philharmonic Orchestra, Philharmonia Orchestra, Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, Royal Scottish National Orchestra, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Basel Symphony Orchestra, Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne, Orchestre Philharmonique Royal de Liège, Orquesta de Valencia, New Japan Philharmonic Orchestra and Simón Bolívar Symphony Orchestra.
He will return to the Philharmonia Orchestra, Mozarteumorchester Salzburg, New Japan Philharmonic, Polish National Radio Symphony Orchestra, Deutsche Radio Philharmonie, Orchestre de la Suisse Romande, Orchestre National de Montpellier and the Ulster Orchestra, and also make his debut with the Seoul Philharmonic, Orchestre National de Lille, Warsaw Philharmonic, and Auckland Philharmonia. 
Domingo is also increasingly gaining recognition as an outstanding opera conductor and from season 2013/14 was appointed as the first assistant to Daniel Barenboim at the Staatsoper Berlin. His role developed very quickly and in season 14/15 he conducted performances of La Traviata, Tosca, Il Barbiere di Siviglia, The Rite of Spring (ballet) and The Rake’s Progress and in season 15/16 he conducts L’Elisir d’Amore, La Bohème and Tosca.
Looking ahead, he will conduct various opera & ballet titles at The Metropolitan Opera New York, Zürich Opera, Opéra de Monte-Carlo and Opéra National de Lorraine. 
Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Domingo Hindoyan began his music studies as a violinist and member of the renowned Venezuelan musical education program El Sistema.
