In September 2025, the Evgeny Svetlanov International Conducting Competition officially became a member of the World Federation of International Music Competitions.
This recognition places the Competition alongside some of the most prestigious international contests in the field of classical music. Membership in the Federation ensures the highest standards of transparency, fairness, and artistic excellence, while also strengthening the Competition’s international reputation.
For our young conductors, this affiliation opens new doors: greater visibility in the global music community, stronger connections with leading institutions, and the assurance that their achievements within the Svetlanov Competition are recognized worldwide.
