In the event of a tie, the prize shall be awarded in full to each Laureate. The Jury shall not be obliged to award all prizes.
The results will be announced at Symphony Hall on 6 September 2026, following the Finals.
CBSO Orchestra Prize
The musicians of the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra will vote for their favourite finalist. The Orchestra will invite the selected laureate to conduct a concert during the 2027–2028 season.
Audience Prize
Semi-finals and Finals
The audiences attending the Semi-finals and Finals at Symphony Hall will be invited to vote for the Audience Prize and to choose their favourite finalist.
Online Audience Prize
The public is invited to vote online via the Competition’s official website in support of their favourite candidate. To vote for your favourite candidate, visit the page Vote for your favourite candidte.
Musical Partners’ Prizes
The Competition’s musical partners will offer selected laureates future conducting engagements.
