The Preliminary round of the 6th Evgeny Svetlanov International Conducting Competition has successfully come to an end in Birmingham.
From 3 to 4 of September, over two days, 18 young conductors from around the world took to the podium with the City of Birmingham Symphony Orchestra, presenting their talent and passion before the jury.
We warmly congratulate all 18 candidates for their remarkable performances, courage and dedication. And a heartfelt thank you to the CBSO, our jury, our team and everyone working behind the scenes to make this Competition possible.
