Michal completed her Professional Diploma in Conducting at the Royal Academy of Music in London in 2025, studying under Sian Edwards and holding the Bianca Falcone Sorrell Award. Previously, she earned a Master’s degree in Orchestral Conducting from the Royal College of Music. She holds degrees in Orchestral Conducting and Clarinet Performance from the Buchmann-Mehta School of Music at Tel Aviv University.
Michal has participated in masterclasses with Daniele Gatti, Sir Andrew Davis, Vasily Petrenko, Sakari Oramo and Lahav Shani.

In 2023, she won First Prize at the 4th International Academy and Competition of Orchestra Conducting in Portugal and Second Prize at the 3rd International Orchestral Conducting Competition “Universidad de Almería” in Spain. In 2025, she was awarded Second Prize at the 5th Kussewitzky Conducting Competition in Italy.

In 2024, Michal joined the Women Conductors Programme of the Royal Philharmonic Society and Royal Northern Sinfonia, led by Alice Farnham, and participated in the Young Conductors Showcase with the BBC Scottish Symphony Orchestra. During the 2024/25 season, she held the position of Female Conductor Trainee at Opera North in Leeds.

She was appointed “Calleva Assistant Conductor” of the Bournemouth Symphony Orchestra for the 2026/27 season and participated in this year’s Gstaad Conducting Academy.

In Israel, Michal founded a museum chamber orchestra in collaboration with the Petah Tikva Museum of Contemporary Art. Named a Classic FM 2026 Rising Star, Michal is a conductor whose work is shaped by a deep sense of narrative and musical imagination.
