Robert Trevino is back on the road…

The new 16-17 season started for Robert Trevino with a first stop in Spain for a concert with Euskadiko Orkestra (Basque National Orchestra), then another reunion with HR-Sinfonieorchester – Frankfurt Radio Symphony with Augustin Hadelich (violin) and his latest stop, in September, with his “Polish family”, the Sinfonia Varsovia, for the annual La Folle Journée.

Daniel Cohen’s summer opera streak

Last summer Daniel Cohen delivered a true streak of operas, starting with «The Enchanted Flute» at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, followed by «The Abduction from the Seraglio» with the Israel Camerata Jerusalem and «The Barber of Seville» once more with the Deutsche Oper Berlin.

Christoph Altstaedt’s summer highlights

In summer 2016, Christoph Altstaedt returned to the Festival Mecklenburg-Vorpommern to conduct the Junge Norddeutsche Philharmonic in a programme featuring Stravinsky’s The Rite of Spring which he also performed with them in Berlin and Hamburg. Other recent concert highlights include a return to the Royal Scottish National Orchestra and German Radio Philharmonic Orchestra Saarbrücken, as well as debuts with the hr-Sinfonieorchester, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin, the Stuttgart Radio Symphony Orchestra, the South Netherlands Philharmonique at the Concertgebouw in Amsterdam, the Oslo Philharmonic, Auckland Philharmoniс, Indianapolis Symphony Orchestra and the Mozarteum Orchestra at the Salzburg Festival.
Christoph’s future orchestral dates include his debut with the Toronto Symphony Orchestra and a return to the Ensemble Resonanz.

Benjamin Ellin wrote an original musical score for a new Elizabeth Bowe theatre production “Tarantella”

From August 30th to September 11th, 2016, on the stage of the Omnibus Theatre in London, a new Elizabeth Bowe production, “Tarantella” was performed, for which Benjamin Ellin provided a musical score.
Set against a backdrop of World War II, “Tarantella” is a full-length drama that explores the power of the family and the ties of community versus the quest for individual happiness. The production is presented by Tenth Muse Productions and features an international cast with original folk music interwoven with contemporary big band hits by Glen Miller.
