Mihhail Gerts with the Russian National Philharmonic Orchestra

On February 28th, for the third time, Mihhail Gerts conducted the Russian National Philharmonic Orchestra in an ambitious program. The heart of that Moscow hall, that carries Svetlaonv’s name, beat to the rhythms of two of Mendelssohn’s works : the overture Ruy Blas and the Hebrides, as well as the First Piano Concerto. The evening concluded in a climax of 4 overtures from Wagner operas, including Tannhaüser and Lohengrin, performed to an enthusiastic audience.

Robert Trevino : Musical Director of the Basque National Orchestra

 In the last few months, Robert Trevino’s has had a full schedule. After his success at the Folle Journée festival in Nantes (France), his concerts in Rotterdam, Milano, Hamburg, Bamberg, Zurich Opera House as well as his debut with the Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, he was appointed the Musical Director of the Basque National Orchestra.

Benjamin Ellin with the Orchestre d’Auvergne (France)

Andris Poga’s succes with the 
Deutsches Symphonie Orchester – Berlin

Andris Poga made a highly successful debut at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall with the Deutsches Symphonie Orchester on November 30th. He was very much appreciated by all the musicians of the orchestra, and also by those of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra who attended the performance. Andris Poga could not have expected to achieve a better result at the Berlin Philharmonic Hall! The musicians asked the orchestra’s management to re-invite the conductor that they found exceptional …

A premiere of Evgeny Svetlanov’s “Spanish Pictures” in Ulyanovsk (Russia)

Картины Испании - Ульяновская филармонияOn the 26th of November 2016, the Ulyanovsk Symphony Orchestra (Russia) under the baton of Dmitry Russu, the laureate of many competitions, presented a premiere in Ulyanovsk : Evgeny Svetlanov’s Spanish Pictures (Rhapsody n°1), which was performed at the Lenin Hall. Maestro Svetlanov had frequently conducted his Russian State Symphony Orchestra (ex-USSR) in this hall.
We are very grateful to the Ulyanovsk Symphony Orchestra and Dmitry Russu for their contribution in the promotion of the musical heritage of Maestro.

“Tribute to Svetlanov” – the 3rd Russian Symphonic Forum in Yekaterinburg

On behalf of the Yekaterinburg Philharmonic, I would like to express my sincere gratitude for your collaboration in the organization of the 3rd Russian Symphonic Forum in Yekaterinburg.
Thanks to your support we were able to produce « Tribute to Svetlanov », a special project of the forum dedicated to the musical heritage of the great musician of the 20th century, Evgeny Svetlanov.
